In a crisis, women are hit first and worst.
Women are:
- 80% of those displaced by climate change
- 60% of the world’s severely hungry
- Twice as likely to experience sexual or physical violence during war than in peacetime
And now the UK government wants to slash aid to women and girls.
On 11 June, the government will set the aid budget for the next three years, so we have less than one month to make our voices heard.
Write to your MP today and ask them to protect aid funding for women and girls.
